Hi, my name is Lauren Haven and I am an Online Navigator here at Wilmington University.
The online navigators connected me to support staff, career counselors or the Office of Student Life. They also host discussion boards for students to interact with one another and feel part of the university.
My instructors have been experts in engaging the class using lots of tech tools. Some of my courses use webinar rooms, and we share ideas and projects within Canvas. The coursework is rigorous and fun.
Career counselors connected with me and my classmates to help build our resumes. Programs like Portfolio and Handshake match our skill sets to job applications.
There are so many opportunities to get involved. I recently joined the Gaming Club and participated in a virtual internship which opened the door to a new career.
Soon I'll be graduating and look forward to a future as a WilmU alumni.
